DOJ and Comast its not quite what you might think…
Just a short clip this time. First of all I am working on getting the 3 mini podcasts up on the website as well as the first full episode. I’m seriously debating breaking it in to two parts. it ended up being nearly 2 hours long (in fact I believe its something along the lines of 2 seconds short) at the current moment. That seems a tad long for me for a podcast… but let me know what you think.

Nintendo’s E3 2012 Press Conference
Monday, June 4, 2012
Sony E3 Press Conference
Sony certainly came out of the gate swinging this E3. With the help of Ubisoft they most certainly had an impressive show, from surprise announcements, to known games Sony has done something that we have been waiting to see for a while now. While I had hoped to hear something more about their plans for the future, and for more tie-ins with alternate devices, it was still impressive.
Ubisoft E3 Press Conference
EA’s Press Conference
This press conference was largely as I expected, with a lot of talk on sports titles. Madden 13, Fifa 13, an announcement of them getting UFC. Being a non-sports gamer these games hold little interest to me however I will say that the idea of leveling up a player to me makes sense for Madden, Fifa, etc. Sim City was also discussed, and a little more was given out about a new MULTIPLAYER feature… very cool.
Microsoft Press Event 2012
I’ll be honest Microsoft did not impress me very much this year. Their conference was by and large annual announcements (Dance Central 3, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, etc. I was hoping for something truly surprising and they had one thing that actually has be curious and interested. Xbox Smart Glass looks to be something with the potential to be truly impressive.
A Sunday Press Release
Nintendo this Sunday June 3, 2012, held a small press conference before the official start of E3 (Electronics Entertainment Expo). It was an interesting pre-recorded release by Satoru Iwata, who though from my understanding doesn’t speak English well, spoke English through out the entire pre-recorded video. The release was short, only a half hour, and covered by and large the Nintendo Wii U Game Pad (try saying that 5 times fast).
