Comcast, you surprise me!

While this certainly isn’t the news that I had hoped to hear it is none the less good news for anyone who is a Comcast subscriber.  They have just raised the 250GB data usage limit to 300GB.  As found via Gizmodo this is good news as that 50GB I’m sure will prove handy, though I personally had hoped to see 500 GB  or more…

In other news I have to ask how much is too much?  In Japan broadcaster NHK has just successfully tested a television signal that is 16x more resolution then your standard 1080p television signal.  Gizmodo again has more information on this astonishing 7680x4320 feat.  Personally I don’t think we really need more then 1080p resolution, and anything that goes above and beyond that really should be compatible with computers so you can use that 42” TV as a big computer monitor… AND STILL HAVE IT LOOK GOOD.
